First few days

Hello everyone! This is Jacqueline. We are all having an amazing first few days here in Italy! Although everyone seemed to be making a fuss about all the rain we would experience during our stay, the weather has actially been sunny and really nice. My family will probably roll their eyes at this but I have tan lines from my ballet shoes, so we've definitely had a lot of sun so far and hope it stays that way. This morning the alpha and omegas split up and performed in two different churches. Going to an Italian church service was definitely an interesting experience but they do sing some of the same songs in worship, but they obviously sing them in Italian. We also danced at a train station in Torino today which was very neat to see how many people stopped what they were doing to watch us perform. So far I am just amazed at how many different people I have met here. I've met people from Italy, Portugal, Australia, and I even ate lunch with a man from the Republic of Congo (Africa) today! I think we are all learning a lot so far and I know there will be many stories to come! I love you all and we will see you in a week!
